  5. Enter your M-Pesa Pin

Repaying Through M-Pesa Paybill

  1. Go to M-Pesa
  2. Select Lipa na M-Pesa
  3. Select Paybill
  4. Enter Ubapesa business number 144966
  5. Account number (enter the phone number you registered on Ubapesa)
  6. Enter the loan amount to repay
  7. Enter PIN
  8. Press Ok to submit

After using the paybill process, make sure to log in to your Ubapesa loan app and refresh it by pressing the repay loan option.

How to Make Money with Ubapesa

How to lend on Ubapesa

There are two ways of lending money on Ubapesa. The first one, the platform automatically matches your specifications with a borrower who meets your requirement. It checks whether your duration of payment, credit score and amount choices match with those of the borrower.

The app also allows you to pick a borrower from the platform regardless of your specifications and conditions. As a lender, you can choose to single lend or multi lend. Single lending is where you lend money to one person and wait for them to repay before you can lend the money to another person.

Multi lending allows you to lend to several borrowers until your principal is exhausted. You can wait for them to repay or load money to your account again and continue to lend.

How you earn as a lender on Ubapesa
